Desert and Desolation

The top photo is one that i took in 2003 while crossing the Nullabor Plain (translated from the Latin meaning treeless) , a vast treeless and arid desert. I included it for comparison with the next photo

The next photo is one that i took yesterday on the top of Mount Wellington showing the desolation of the top of the Mountain. Its anything but a desert but is instead blasted by the jet stream of strong winds snd harsh weather.

    Hi,

I just came across your new blog. The title and subtitle of your blog are interesting to me because I wonder on occasion: are there a finite number of photographs that can be taken in the world, or even universe? I think the answer is yes, because two cameras can’t occupy the same space at the same time (to take very slightly different photographs). Just a funny thought that your site reminded me of…

    Hi Jason,

thanks for stopping by. I’m glad to get yout mind working even in a strange and unusual way ans I know what you mean about strange thoughts though as occassionally in strange moods I worry that maybe science got things wrong and one day i’m going to discover something we thought was fact was infact wrong like say gravity and i’m going to be floating off the planet unexpectedly or maybe just the dog will cease to be affected by gravity and i will have to walk him like a helium balloon.

    Sometimes i think too much
